Justin Anderson studied fine art at the Slade School in London and at the Rijksakademie Van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Then exhibited as an artist making videos and live TV transmission performances.

He directed music videos, commercials and won numerous awards in fashion before focusing on narrative cinema.

He recently wrote and directed his first feature ‘Swimming Home’ an adaptation of Deborah Levy’s Man-Booker nominated novel starring Christopher Abbott, Mackenzie Davis, Ariane Labed and Nadine Labaki.
